UN-F5000 H 系列载货电梯
Product overview
What the XIZI UN-F5000 H series freight elevator (载货电梯) is
The UN-F5000 H is the freight elevator series from XIZI (西子电梯), used where the load is goods rather than people and the design is driven by car size, floor strength and door opening rather than ride comfort. Xizi Elevator Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Xizi International and organises its portfolio into eight product series: machine-room passenger, machine-room-less passenger, home, panoramic, hospital, freight, escalator and moving walk. The freight range is quoted up to 60 t and 2.5 m/s, which describes the envelope the manufacturer builds within rather than the rating of every unit; the UN-F5000 H for a given building is configured inside that envelope, with rated load, speed, car dimensions and door arrangement set by the project specification. Most installations sit well below it, because the car has to fit the shaft and the goods have to fit the car.
Where it fits in a project
Typical applications are factories moving material between floors, warehouses and distribution centres with mezzanine picking, logistics buildings where a goods core links dock to storage, cold stores, industrial parks with shared service cores, retail back-of-house, and institutional buildings where supplies or equipment move on a dedicated car. The lift is part of a material flow, so cycle time and car dimensions matter more than finish.
New build is the normal case, because freight shafts are sized around the car and the handling equipment. In an industrial retrofit the survey establishes shaft dimensions, slab capacity at each landing, and whether the existing pit accepts the new buffer and ramp arrangement. Clients raise four points. First, whether a forklift will enter the car, because that changes floor construction, car frame and door type. Second, whether the door opening clears the widest load. Third, whether the building's duty cycle matches the machine and control system, since a freight lift may start far more often per hour than a passenger lift. Fourth, whether the unit can be maintained locally without importing parts for every intervention.
What to check before you specify it
- Establish the payload from goods plus handling equipment; a laden forklift adds a point load the rated load alone does not describe.
- Fix internal car dimensions from the pallet or crate sizes actually used, not from the rated load.
- Select door type and clear opening against the widest load, and confirm whether a bi-parting or vertical door suits the layout.
- Confirm car floor construction; a steel plate floor and reinforced frame are usually needed where wheeled equipment enters.
- Verify travel, pit depth and overhead clearance against the layout drawing before the civil package is issued.
- Match rated speed to travel and handling cycle; a higher speed does not shorten a cycle dominated by loading time.
- Confirm the starting frequency and duty class the building needs, and that machine and control suit it.
- State the environment: dust, humidity, wash-down, cold-store temperature or corrosive atmosphere, so protection is specified.
- Confirm fire rating requirements for landing doors and shaft enclosure, and whether a firefighting lift is required in the same core.
- Agree builder's work: pit drainage, shaft ventilation, landing sills and plates, hoisting beams and the power supply.
Compliance and documentation
Freight elevators follow the same conformity route as passenger units, with added attention to loading. For CE marking markets the unit is assessed against EN 81-20 for the safety rules of construction and installation and EN 81-50 for design rules, calculations, examinations and tests of lift components; in China the governing standard is GB 7588. Countries outside these frameworks apply their own national codes, and industrial installations sometimes fall under additional local rules on goods lifts, loading or fire separation. Those requirements are confirmed by the buyer for the project, and the specification and contract are written against the confirmed code.
Documents normally supplied are the type examination certificates for the safety components and for the lift model where required, the certificate of conformity and declaration of conformity, factory test reports, the commissioning record, the packing list, and the installation and maintenance documentation. For a freight unit the test record should show the load test and the overload device setting, since those are the points an inspector checks first. Third-party inspection can be arranged at the factory or at destination, and the scope of any notified body assessment is agreed before production.
Supply, inspection and shipping
ElevApex is a multi-brand supplier, not a manufacturer. Equipment is sourced from Chinese manufacturing partners, and for this series the manufacturing partner is XIZI in China. Our scope covers specification review against the destination code, order placement, engineering follow-up, inspection, export packing, certificates and shipping documents. Because industrial projects often need a freight car, a passenger car and an escalator in the same phase, orders from several brands can be consolidated into one delivery programme with one document set.
Pre-shipment inspection concentrates on items that are expensive to correct on site: car frame and platform welds, floor plate thickness, door operator adjustment, rail straightness, controller configuration and the load test record. Third-party inspection can be arranged where an independent record is required. Packing is driven by weight and size: rails and frame sections in banded bundles, machine and sheave assemblies on skids, controller cabinets in shock-mounted cases. Oversized cars may need break-bulk or flat-rack handling rather than a standard container, decided at the loading plan stage.
Frequently asked questions
What load can the UN-F5000 H carry?
The XIZI freight range is quoted up to 60 t at range level. The rating for a specific building is configured inside that envelope and stated in the project specification.
What speed is available?
The range is quoted up to 2.5 m/s. The speed selected for a project normally follows from the travel and handling cycle rather than from the maximum available.
Can a forklift drive into the car?
That depends on the car floor, car frame and door type specified. It should be declared at the enquiry stage, because a unit designed for pallet trucks is not automatically suitable for a laden forklift.
Is a separate machine room needed?
The arrangement is confirmed on the layout drawing for the project. Freight units are commonly supplied with a machine room, but the requirement depends on the configuration and the shaft.
Can the unit be supplied for an existing industrial building?
Yes, subject to a survey of the shaft, the slab capacity at each landing and the pit. The configuration is then adapted to the measured conditions.
